What these terms cover?

These are the terms and conditions on which we provide study materials and services to you, whether these are courses, associated services or digital content combined (a Course).

Please read these terms carefully before you purchase a course. Your place an order for a course is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By placing an order for a course you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not be provided a Course.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

a. We are BISC Vietnam Limited Company, a company registered in Vietnam. Our company registration number is 0108905974 and our registered office is at Building A2, TT 61 Ham Long, Hang Bai Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam.

b. How to contact us. You can contact us by telephoning our Student Services team at +84(0) 858 822 168 or by writing to us at bisctrainingcenter@gmail.com or BISC Training Center, The 4th floor, Lakeview Building, 71 Chua Lang Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi.

3. Odering Procedure

a. In order to purchase a course via the website you must register and pay fee via the website https://hockiemtoanonline.edu.vn/. When ordering via postal application, email or telephone you do not need to be registered online.

b. When you place an order for a course you are offering to purchase that course on these Terms and Conditions. BISC Training Center reserves the rights to decline or cancel your order, or any part of your order.

c. Following receipt by BISC Training Center of your order for a course you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received.

d. BISC Training Center reserves the right to withdraw at any time courses advertised for sale on the website or brochure.

4. Payment Terms

a. The Fee for any course at any given time will be displayed on the Website and the Brochure. Fees are quoted in VND are exclusive of VAT and exclusive of any additional charges.

b. The Fee includes the tuition, study materials and revision classes if applicable. The fee excludes any additional charges which shall be paid by you on and when they are due.

c. You must pay the Fee no later than 7 days before the course starts.

5. Refund and cancellation policy

No refunds shall be offered, where a Course is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway or where a Course is activated on the online learning platform of BISC.

The cancellation is accepted if it is given before a Course is deemed to have begun and activated on the online learning platform of BISC. Notification for instance, in person, via email, mobile phone text message’ and/or fax, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing. We reserve the right to charge 25% of the tuition fee to cover any further administrative and processing costs.

6. Activated Course

a. Within 24 hours from the time you pay the full course fee, your course will be activated on the online learning platform.

b. You can access all materials on the online learning platform as soon as your Course is activated.

c. Your Course's expiration date is 4 months from the date of Course activation.

7. How we may use your personal information

a. We may use the personal data provided on this form for the purposes of:

i. contacting the nominated individuals

ii. responding to enquiries and investigating complaints

iii. complying with regulatory obligations

Student details will be shared with ACCA for the use of Result Service. Result service is the mechanism of gathering student data to allow for the analysis of pass rates.

b. How we will use your personal information. We will use the personal information you provide to us:

i. To supply a Course to you;

ii. To process your payment for a Course; and

iii. If you agreed to this during the enrolment process, to inform you about similar Courses that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.

c. We may share your personal information

i. If you are a sponsored student, we will share your data, course attendance and test results with your employer or any other party responsible for paying your fees.

ii. With ACCA as the relevant professional body for your Course.

The information below summarises the basis on which we process personal information.

A summary of the legal basis used by ACCA are:

Public interest: ACCA as a regulatory body processes personal data to protect members of the public and in the public interest. This includes, but not limited to, the maintenance of the Members Directory, Regulatory Activities, and Member Investigations and Disciplinary Actions.

Contract: ACCA processes personal data which is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you may be a party to, or may want to enter. This includes, but not limited to, ACCA membership, examinations, career services and subscriptions.

Legal obligation: ACCA processes personal data which is necessary to comply with its legal obligations. This includes, but not limited to, providing personal information to regulators, law enforcement agencies and statutory bodies.

Legitimate interest: ACCA processes personal data in order to meet its legitimate interests as a professional association and regulator of Chartered Accountants. This includes, but is not limited to responding to general enquiries, supporting our students, members and partners, and improving our services relating to their Continued Professional Development, training and employment.

Consent: ACCA processes personal data where you have provided your consent to do so.

iii. With other business divisions and subsidiaries of BISC VN CO., LTD that provide services we think might interest you.

iv. With a third party in connection with a change in or corporate structure such as, but not limited to, merger, consolidation, sale, liquidation, or transfer of substantial assets.

v. We may disclose personal information, as permitted or required by law, and to: (i) respond to inquiries or requests from governmental or public authorities; (ii) protect our rights, privacy, safety or property; (iii) permit us to pursue available remedies or limit damages that we may sustain; and (iv) enforce our agreements, including without limitation our enrolment terms and conditions.

8. Technology

a. Essential requirements. You will need the following essentials to participate in one of our Courses on the online learing platform.

i. Access to a PC or laptop;

ii. Ability to connect to the internet via a broadband connection.

iii. Internet speed: minimum 5Mb/s for maximum quality

b. Your browser. Our learning platform supports all the major modern browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari. However, for optimum performance we recommend that you use the latest version of Chrome. Please note that do not use download support software such as Internet Download Manager (IDM) and Coc Coc browser. Otherwise, all your accounts will be locked.

c. Number of devices allowed. Your account is limited to access by up to 3 different devices. If the number of devices allowed is exceeded, all your accounts will be locked.

d. Digital content is available for a limited period of 4 months from the date of account activation . Call customer services on +84(0) 858 822 168 or email us at bisctrainingcenter@gmail.com if you need any technical support.

e. In case the system downs, BISC provided the following method for back up:

- Secret Facebook Group for video watching

- Online learning with lecturers by zoom or Microsoft team.

Support team will contacts you when any technical issues occur.

9. Other information terms

i. Courses are not transferable between students.

ii. Students must not share any course’s content (material, lesson, online content with nor make their online passwords available) to any third parties including other students. We reserve the right to terminate access to your online accounts in these circumstances or where we detect any suspicious or unusual activity related to your account.

iii. It is the full responsibility of the student to comply with any visa requirements.
